Introduction
Stanford Alumni are passionate about their years at Stanford and wholeheartedly share that passion with prospective students.
The Stanford alumni network is a global one of accomplished graduates which includes Omar Wasow, the founder of BlackPlanet (the largest online community for African-Americans), Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, Incredible Hulk producer Gale Ann Hurd, and Jeffrey Raikes, the head of the Gates Foundation (the largest charitable organization in the world).
Our OVAL alumni are deeply connected to Stanford and committed to partnering with the admission office to recruit outstanding students from around the world by attending college fairs and hosting receptions for admitted students.

OVAL – Outreach Volunteer Alumni Link
OVAL is the Stanford Alumni home for the Office of Undergraduate Admission volunteers. Through OVAL, our alumni reach thousands of students each year.
OVAL Registration
New and veteran admission volunteers need to register for OVAL through the Stanford Volunteer Clearinghouse. Once registered, you will receive all communication related to admission volunteer opportunities.
Pilot Interview Program
For the first time at Stanford, alumni will participate in a pilot interview program for the 2008-09 undergraduate admission season. Interviews are by invitation only and applicants may not request interviews.
